Shel Silverstein was always one of my favorites writers and the fact that he did his own illustrations lent his work very well to tattoos. So, after 2 years of playing around with which piece and where I wanted it placed I finally got the cover art from Where the Sidewalk Ends on the inside of my left arm. I got my velveteen rabbit tattoo in December. It is a symbol of my childhood. It was my favorite book and I think it is a perfect symbol of innocence, of believing in things.

Hello, hello. I have two tattoos and have been contemplating some literary ones for some time. I'd love some advice!
The first one is from Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree. I have the idea of the tree on the cover with the words inside, instead of the title, the words "and the tree was happy."
